Figured the best place to start was in the introduction area. I am from Louisiana, and have been bow hunting for a little over five years. My wife and I had a little one last year right before hunting season, so the past two seasons have been a little slow for me. Trying to balance being a parent and getting some time in the woods has been a challange. Needless to say, when I did get a chance to hunt I would rifle hunt. Now that my little one is getting a little older, I can venture out more. Hoping to get back into bow hunting pretty good for next season. While doing some research online, I stumbled across this forum. Scanned through some of the threads, and decided I needed to join up.

Has gotten a little easier this year already, but unfortunately I missed the best part of bow season in my area. Did have the opportunity to see a nice buck on stand this year. Didn't get a shot, but in my book seeing deer in their natural environment is 80% of the fun.
