Thanks for the replies, can't wait to post some big bucks, like everyone else. I'm going to Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Park aka Site M, Cass county Illinois Nov. 7th - 14th with 5 buds from Michigan. Hopefully we have some success. Anyone ever hunted this land. 16,000 acres of big buck heaven!
I know a few guys that have hunted JEPC over the past few years, and unfortunately the hunting isn't quite as good as it used to be. The entire place is pretty much overrun with non-residents during November which makes getting close to a big buck still pretty tough. Lots of pressure, and lots of guys who don't know what the h*** they're doing. BUT, there's a lot of great deer down there and you'll no doubt see some shooters during your week. Hopefully you can put an arrow through one and bring home some pics to show us. :D
