This past season I went out deer hunting for my first time. I had never hunted before in my life, but decided I wanted to give it a try. This year I hope to really get into it. I work with a lot of hunters so I always heard them talking about it, but never gave it any thought til this past year. I plan on getting my first bow soon, probably when i get my tax refund lol, and getting plenty of practice in before this next season. This site has been extremely helpful so far. Between reading posts and blogs and articles I have learned a ton. I've also been soaking up everything from friends and people at work. I didn't grow up hunting and really knew nothing about it, so it's quite the learning process. Now hopefully I will be able to use it all this coming year. Also kind of hard getting places to hunt and such starting out, as I dont have land I can hunt on of my own. Been browsing for quite some time and finally wanted to drop a line. thanks for all the info and for the first time ever, I think i'm actually wanting spring and summer to fly by so I can get out and hunt this fall/winter.
Welcome mt fighter! This site is a great resource for sure. I'm glad that you are giving a serious go at this whole hunting thing. What are you planning on hunting?
@fitz-mostly deer hunting. might go every once in a while and do some bird hunting but mainly bow hunting deer this upcoming season.
