hello forum, I'm brand new to bow hunting--archery... my girlfriend bought me a Matthews Halon 6 for christmas and been shooting for a week now. I like and--will learn to love it but must admit i need to workout i think. the three times i went to shoot it i shoot like 24 times each times an the next day shoulder/back was killing me. Question: where is a good source for assesories. any stores y'all shop at
Where are you? I can tell you of a couple but unless you are in Vermont....... probably won't help you much. Yes I'll bet you are sore. Shooting a bow uses muscles that are rarely used in any other movement. The first thing that I would do is to back your bow off 5 - 10 pounds. The second thing that I would do is think seriously about this "girlfriend!" She bought you a bow for Christmas!!!!!!!!! WOW! I see some real potential there.
