I came across this site and liked what I saw so I thought I would join. I'm 20 years old and from Kansas, would be great to here from some other Kansas hunters on here. I got into hunting 4 or 5 years ago, just basically introduced myself to it. I mainly just hunt whitetails, haven't really got into turkeys yet but plan to, I would like to goose hunt too I see a lot of them here but decoys are too expensive. I taught my self to shoot a bow on my own and most everything I've learned about bow hunting I learned it from reading up on it. I'm looking forward to a great season, hopefully I'll get my first buck this year with my bow. I shoot a Diamond Black Ice and I really like it. I've started to get my girlfriend into it too she got a Diamond Razor Edge last year. She needs to practice more so she won't be using it this year though. I look forward to learning some good info on here.
welcome to the site, its always nice to see others enjoyin the outdoors as much as everyone else on this site
Howdy, a fellow Kansan here hunting out of Miami County. Anything I can do to help you with that first buck just let me know. Chris
Live and hunt in unit 19. I'm thinking about trying out a couple WIHA in unit 11, don't know whether I'm brave enough to hang a stand on one because of theft. I've heard some of them walk-in areas don't get a lot of pressure. Chris your just south of me.
Born in Gardner and lived here my whole life. I want to eventually move somewhere a little more rural, like Anderson or Linn counties. Gardner isn't so much of a small town anymore.
Neighbors, we live in 14 and thats where the wife will be hunting, I will be doing most of mine in 8.
