I'm new to bow hunting and decided this year I was going to be prepared so I I was granted permission from the landowner where I hunt to do food plots. In one area I have minimal sunlight maybe an hour or two a day, in another about 6 hours a day and in another 3 hours a day. Will this work and what should I plant? I have the necessary tools to plant just need to know what to plant. Thanks everyone!!!! Bow hunt or die!!
I'd suggest a rye and or wheat, crimson clover plot in the fall. Don't know what kinds of trees you are dealing with but if deciduous, the leaf drop will give you some extra hours of light and it should do fine.
