I went hunting for the first time with a gun and loved it. But i want to shoot a bow. My son also want to shoot. So we went down to the local archery place, we shot some compounds, it was great. Looking to target shoot the first year and then hunt.

For my son they recommended a mission menace, said it would last a while. $349 with scope amd sp,e other goodies, no case or arrows. For me i was looking for something in the $400 range, any suggestions? Is the menace ok for my son.

    Thanks

The mission line is a good line of bows to start with for the both of you. I would look at bear and diamond as well. You're both looking at around around $500.00-$600.00 each for 2 complete set up bows with sight, stabilizer, arrows, peep, arrow rest, field points, and release.

Could check the classifieds here or on archerytalk. Can find deals there. I got my bow im shooting now for a lot less than MSRP. Just a thought.

Buy an APA. You will never shoot and things else. The most KE on the market.
