Hello I'm new to bowhunting and have a PSE stinger as my first bow, I have had it for just over a year but due to some unconvient surgeries i havent had much shooting time. I would like to start shooting more and trying to get the bow tuned in. It seems as everytime i get it sighted in close the next time i go to shoot usually a day two later it shoots totally diffrent. When i purchsed the bow the salesman told me to shoot a couple hundred arrows and then bring it in to give it a tune up but im not really sure i undersood what he said. is this something you have to do?

    Thank you! Mike

I shoot 3 through my bow and I'm dead on back to 60 yards. Your problem could be your sight is vibrating your pins loose. I would get another sight and see what happens then. Your pro shop should have you dead on with just a few shoots. You could also tighten your sight down more and the pins then put a limb saver on it that's what my dad had to do a few years back. I hope this helps and you get shooting right

I just bought a new mathews and the shop owner had me go back to his range and shoot a hundred or so too. He then checked my peep, and made sure everything was tight and that the nock point was still good. I'm pretty sure its a break in period for you string should it stretch or any other factors. As to why youre shooting different it could be a number of things. I would start with your anchors and your form, then I would also check to make sure your peep isnt moving. If you still have problems then I would go back to the shop and have them check it out.
