Hi! I have never bow hunted and I just started shooting my new bow a few months ago. I am looking forward to this new experience and learning all about it. Any suggestions for a newbie? Don't really know what to expect but excited about getting into a tree. Any suggestions or helpful tips would be greatly appreciated. I am also new to posting on the forums so hopefully I will be on here more and learn a little more from all you guys and gals also.
welcome to the site.. and bowhunting.. lots of deer in that part of the country, but lots of hunters also... don't know how it works in Wisconsin, but my brother lives in Illinois and they have public areas open for hunting but they limit the number of hunters each day, you have to sign in so get there early, but you'll not have 100 other hunters walking thru your set up..
Bet you will get a deer before I do this season especially if your hunting the kill plot! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Welcome to the site. #1 generic advice is to practice and know what shots to take and avoid. Outside of that, read and ask questions. The more specific you are with the question, the better advise you'll get. Good luck this Fall!
Thank you Fitz! Great to meet you at the bow shoot and camping. Thank you for making me feel welcome. Looking forward to next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Welcome to the site! One tip I have is to shoot from an elevated position as often as you can. Good Hunting this year!
Oh she will get plenty of practice! She will be ready when we come visit you this season! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
