I started last year crossbow hunting. I did not harvest anything with the crossbowlast year, but i loved the extra time in the woods over rifle season. Over the offseason i built up alot of confidence up to 40 yards. September 15th 2017, was Missouri's opener and i harvested a young 6 point buck at daylight for my first crossbow harvest. It was amazing, but left me wanting more. I bought a crossbow initially to get out in the woods more and because crossbows are badass. I am hoping to get a compound bow soon and practice alot before next year. I would love to get one and use it this year, but i don't think i would be able to be comfortable enough to make an ethical kill. This forum and the videos are a great find for me.
