What up guys! Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a firefighter from Arkansas. Had a lot of hunting businesses in the past including a regional magazine and even video blogged for outdoor life magazine. Gambled financially when I went all in on another business that didn't make it. I live close to Memphis TN so all the leases are crazy expensive over here. I got tired of kissing a?$ just to go hunting and am taking on public hunting this year. Im here to learn and bounce ideas off of you guys. Used to I'd throw some bait and a trail cam out and hunt that way. I don't have that luxury now and it's without a doubt going to be much harder. No baiting and no fourwheelers... That being said, I'm really really looking forward to next season and the challenge it brings. I know there's big deer out there it's just a matter of me playing my cards right. Well looks like you are 3.5 hours away, there is some really good hunting around where I'm going to be from what I've been told Friends don't let friends hunt with guns
Yeah I believe the recent world record wasn't too far away from you. At least that's what I've heard. I never hunted in TN mainly bc I just stuck to arkansas. There's obviously some good deer over there though. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Welcome fellow FF. I too have recently come to rely on the public hunting. Only down here your best chances are on drawn hunts. Thankfully with my schedule it makes it a little easier, that is if I can get drawn. Good luck next season.
