Hello my fellow whitetail chasers. Afterrecently getting out of the Army after 8+ years toting around an M4 and M24 i've moved to the great state of illinois after meeting my lovely wife. The thing with Illinois is the strongly prefer bowhunting over gun hunting so i'm trading the rifle and 3000fps for a bow and 300fps haha. I was a squad leader and sniper section leader before i got out so i do love my guns but it seems Illinois will force me into the craft of bow hunting. I have hunted archery season in the past and shoot "yearly" but i plan to get way more into it this year. Have been watching the uploads of the ATA from this year and cant wait for Fall 2013.

Welcome to the site. Good to have ya with us. Thank you for your service aswell. Most of us love our guns here aswell but I really think ur gonna love the chase and adventure of being a little more dedicated to bowhunting.
