What's a good replacement string for my new bow. I'm already having a problem with my peep twisting after only about 30 or 40 shots. Thanks.

Great quality at a great price. I have shot the snot out of a few sets and haven't been disappointed. The guys there are great.

Dan at MeanV Archery usually has great prices on them. The other good deal is you can pick from a ton of colors. www.meanvarchery.com

If you only have 30-40 shots on a "new" bow, i don't think replacing your string is your problem. Peep, might not have been set properly. Might be worth having a shop check it out and seeing if that is a problem. If it's not a new bow...and has alot of shots on it...then my theory is out the window.

It could have been put on wrong for all I know, it was put on at the store I bought it from.

    What about Winner's Choice strings?

VT, Bucknasty, Crackers, Extreme, and Winner's Choice are all good. I think Winner's Choice are a bit overpriced, but I too think your problems are more how your bow was set up instead of the strings.

I have a brand new PSE Stinger and my peep sight has rotated a few times which I was told that is normal. The new string will stretch / break-in a bit and cause this. What they did at the store was slide down the bottom wrapping, open up the sting and untangle it and put it back in. Mine has twisted once since then and I just did the same, slid down the bottom wrapping making sure I didn't move the top to make sure the peep will be in the same spot, took some needle nose plies wile closed and just opened the strings enough to remove the peep and then insert it back in so it would be right, and slid the wrapping back up to make things tight. Just take care not to cut the strings while inserting the pliers. They have a little plastic tool that they use to spread the strings apart. This has worked for me. Hope this helps

I've been a vaportrail guy for the last few years. Great, fast service at a decent price, and their strings/cables are top notch.

Bowtech has a new string line for Bows other than Bowtech or diamond. check them out NEw and Exclusive to BT . Made from BCY 452x with gore fiber. Really nice and reasonable priced.
