America's Best are a very good string. First String is good, Winner's Choice is good... My personal favorite though is America's Best.
I believe we here at Inner X provide one of the best custom sets money can buy. Guaranteed against serving separation, peep rotation, and creep. Also we are having a 20% off spring sale for the month of March to the BH.com community.
Im new to bow hunting, came across this post and was wondering how to tell when you need a new string?
Octane backbone strings. They have a 2 year warranty guarantee. I'm not sure but I dont think the others have that. Great strings on any bow.
Jeremy Mullins from Jeremy's custom strings an tuning they are second to none and made to perfection Sent from my hand held hunting device
Fraying, cut or broken strands, lost draw weight or every couple years. Any other condition that you are unsure of. keep away from extended ultra-violet light and extreme temps and keep waxed but no too much build up.
I'm a huge fan of Vaportrail strings. Not only are they outstanding quality, but the customer service is very hard to beat. Case in point. I put a brand new set of VT on an Allegiance last year. While I was monkeying with the strings, getting my bow in spec the way I wanted it (I'm anal about it and the strings were very close out of the package), I had too many turns in the strings and had everything out of whack big time. It was completely my fault. I called VT and explained that I thought the string was a touch too long, but I turned it quite a few twists to get it where I thought it should be. The guy on the phone explained that I should never have had to put more than 3 or so twists in any of it and he'd get me a new set built and out the door asap. A week later, a brand new set was at my door with a return envelope for the originals. No questions asked. Thats what I call great CS, even though it was my mistake. Oh and did I mention you'll most likely pick up around 5fps with VT's? I've had several sets from them now and not one has ever stretched or creeped, throwing my timing out or causing peep rotation. Not one set has had serving separation either. If you decide to go with Vaportrail, get in touch with Dan at MeanV Archery. He has a great price on them and is an all around great guy to deal with.
I'm new to this forum, so dont know whom makes good ones here. I know if your shooting a Bowtech, their factory strings are top notch. Vapor trail, 60x, Mike Carter aka cracker in MO and Baldy's Archery in OH. Are all good with excellent service.
I have another set of 60X strings coming for my Reezen 7.0 (should be here early next week), awesome product and no complaints!
