Had my bow in the shop and got it restrung with new Vapor Trail strings. Looks great and with the new Trophy Ridge sight shoots great. Only thing is that the bow is a lot louder now with new strings than it was before with my old strings. I went from Monkey Tail silencers to string leeches if that makes a difference, but my main question is will the bow get quieter the more I shoot it? Do new strings need to be broken in so to speak?

Things that will could have made your bow louder with new strings:

Higher poundage now. I bet you gained 5-7 pounds with new strings/cable and tune.
    Different string material (less elasticity).
Monkey Tails are better than Leeches and they don't split the string.
Something could be loose after working on it.
And (sorry) it could be just in your head.

    It probably won't change.

Whitetail summed it up well. I believe its the string material VT uses its specially made for them. You probably are getting more fps and that is causing the noises. The best way to quiet down is cat whiskers.
