So I have been shooting this Martin cougar FC pro with the nitro cams. Last year the stock string stretched so much it was physically noticeable between shot strings. i lost 9fps and gained like an inch of draw! So i was out of town, and my roomate hunted with my bow and didnt look at the cams to make sure they were vertical. Drew to test draw and the string slipped. Now i have a compound I cant hunt with, and I cant afford to spend 180 bucks at a local shop to get one made and put on. Anyone still build strings around here? How much would you charge me for a set? Any help would be appreciated. thanks Phil

You won't be let down...thats for sure. I have ordered numerous sets from him. Perfect every time. If you have any questions he is great with answering. The Customer service is second to none! I just put a second set on my Revenge cause I wanted to change colors...lol. Got them on both my bows.
i order new set-string and cable for my bear mauler from bow string depot, i changed them in monday and it is awesome string!! I got my most recent string and cable set from vapor trail...they have some 'new' material they are using I believe its called 'VTX' or something like that and I really like it so far..nice color options too.
Yep...he is a great guy to deal with. Any color you want he can do it. I've shot a lot of different ones. His is all I will buy now. Can't beat em.
Not trying to hasten the atmosphere, but options are nice sometimes. You could also check out Vapor Trail stings and cables, very well made and will be on your doorstep in three days. In most cases, you'll increase bow speed by a few fps. I believe they are roughly $85-$95 a set. I have them on my PSE Revenge as well and cant say enough good things about them.
Tell yah what, I would be hard pressed to say there is a better deal on a set of VERY well made strings, ( and I have bought a whole bunch) Out there. Customer service was second to none, and I know where my next set is comin from!
For the record. I have shot Vapor trail. I have shot Fuse, and Winners Choice. SO far my favorites are: Bow string Depot Americas Best And Scorpion.
I agree...Never shot Scorpion though. If for some unknown reason I didn't buy from Bill, My other choice would be John's Custom Bowstrings. Or Energy Wave Bowstrings. I don't see me buying anywhere else as long as Bill is able to build strings....lol. Bill's Prices are great too. I've seen post above about Vapor Trail...I'm sure there good strings too.
