I want to replace my string on my Mathews Heli-M after this season. Was wondering for those of you that have replaced yours already....does the new string come with the String Grubbs already on it or do you take them off of your old string and install on the new? Does it even make a difference. I hear from people that could care less about them and others that swear they are there for a reason and they add speed to the bow as it helps the cam rotate faster cause it favors the added weight in that exact spot. Thanks for the input guys!

Just realized I misspelled string* in my thread title, but can't figure out how to change it!

Call your local bow shop... Each bow shop is different. I have called the three shops near my home and 2 out of three re-cycle the string grubs.

Sounds good, thanks! Guess I'll just talk to my shop when I place the order on the new string.

Most of us string builders reuse the grubs. They do sell them on their site but not worth the price. Since they are so easy to switch over and serve in. They do make a difference in fps and need to go right in the same place as the were.
