round one over....... go bruins!!! still cant believe what they did in game 7! lookin good against NY...I honestly didn't think they stood a chance! as long as they keep peppering the net...we can make lundquist lose his confidence like we did to luongo in the finals in 2011!!! Pittsburgh still scares the crap out of me!
The best goalie in the world doesn't get there by losing confidence lol. Lundquist can win a game by himself. Not saying Bruins won't win the series (I think they will). But it certainly won't be due to Lundquist perfomance... he is the best in the game for a reason. It will be more because of the Rangers lack of offense.
Tort has the Rangers beat down and playing way to freaking conservative for the talent they have. Hank is playing alone unless they start scoring. You would think that with the off season moves they made last year, adding speed and scoring..tort would have learned his lesson from last playoffs...defense only gets you so far and by the time the Rangers where in the conference finals they where played off from all the blocked shots and constant defense. This year they won't make it that far...I hope I am wrong but I can't see them getting past Boston.
I agree about tort.....lol he is a local from Canton MA, went to high school there, and for the past few days they local sports radio boys have been digging up his old yearbook quotes and stuff....pretty funny! and having people who went to school with him call in! he's like a bill belicheck who swears!!! can't believe the guys still block shots for tort either...especially against big Z's cannon! I think tomorrow's game will tell us a lot.
Ehhhh not really the match up i'd be hopin for. Though I'm sure absolutely noone else would like it, I think a penguins vs kings could get fun. They have the same playin style in a way.
