I had the double main buck at 25 yards this morning and never got a shot... He slid down in the creek behind me, and I just knew he'd come up on my side the mineral lick where I've had so many pics. Took a right, and walked down the middle of the creek with the little 6 point he's with. Still in velvet. I thought it was going to happen. That's hunting.
IKR, you're going to be really shocked and awed when I tell you to look close that there's a four wheeler there too!
deer absolutely love lucky buck. I watched two does lick, chew, and paw in the mineral site for 30 minutes... Their two little ones went down to the creek to play. Those fawns ran and chased each other in the creek like two little kids.
