I just bought the NAP Apache 5" in black. I love it. My bow is more balanced, less vibration on the shot and os actually more steady on hold than it was with the last one. All in all, I am super glad I bought it. Best $30 I have spent on a single item for my bow to date.

I'd go with a Octane or Nap Apache.

Octane 11.5" with 6 2oz b-stinger disc weights. Yeah, 12 ounces hanging off the front of my bow. The trade off between how much it weighs and what it does for my bow is totally worth it.

It all depends on what you want your stabilizer to do?

    Simms
    Octane
    NAP
    Stokerized
    B-Stinger
    Doinker
    Fuse
    Posten

... The list can go on forever. They all do accomplish the same thing, but do totally opposite things as well.

Some of the short ones like 4 inches or less are more for vibration killing than stabilizing per sey. I'd take your bow to the pro shop and see if they will let you shoot with several different ones. Matter of fact, that's what I'm doing after I get off work today.

I realize that site sponsors have to be mentioned but there is NO WAY that you can get ANY stabilizing effect from a 4"-6" stabilizer !!!

I think many forget that the point of a stabilizer is to steady your sight picture and provide a steady shooting platform. Not just a chunk of short rubber.

There are some very exciting stabilizers available these days. Models like the hugely popular Doinker DISH, B-stinger, Paridigim and Stockerized. The reason for their popularity is because they truly stabilize!!!

The Doinker DISH is my personal fav. Not only does it offer maximum stabilization but with it's pliable hub with adjustable Stack weights.... it can be fine tuned for the absolute perfect balance and offset for ANY rig in ANY condition. Take a look at one in your Pro Shop and see for yourself what all th talk is about? Good luck and good shootin'
