So looking g for a new sight. This is the 1st time in 15 years i decided to bow hunt again. Man have things changed. I just got a bear encounter. I kinda want to go with a single pin. I have looked at a bunch. Looking at trophy ridge react. The spot hog. Does any one have input it would be great thanks.

I've always used a multi-pin sight, and just switched to an HHA optimizer single pin. I found it very easy to focus on and while setup takes a few minutes it's really accurate.

I know the spot hog is also a pretty good one from what I've read. Take a look at the HHA Optimizer also, they have two versions one lever and one dial controlled.

I have HHA sights on my bows and I love them. They are easy to setup and built like a tank. The DS-5519 is my favorite. The adjustable rheostat is awesome.

I have a Trophy Ridge 5 pin Hitman and it's seemed to work well so far. Fitz told me about Black Gold sights. They look really nice and you can get them with as many pins as you want or don't want. Little pricey but I think it's probably worth it.

I recently switched to a Spot Hogg Tommy Hogg single pin and really like it. Easy to set up and they send the sight tapes with them now. I've had an HHA in the past and they are nice as well but I prefer the design of the Tommy Hogg.

I have a Trophy Ridge React 5 pin and it's such a breeze to set up. Other than mounting you don't need allens to adjust. Huge sight housing let's you see what you're shooting well and the pins are very bright. I do like single pins, but not for hunting. I've missed opportunities having to adjust on the fly.

I have looked in to t/r. I think prolly go with it just for price. But where I hunt I might get 35 yards at farthest shot. But I want to try some 3d this winter. A lot has changed in the years.

Have a Black Gold Ascent and love it. Have 3-5 fixed pins but the sight also slides allowing you to use your bottom pin as a floater. Best of both worlds IMO.

Are the single pins hard to get used to. I'm worry I won't have time to adjust it on fly if need to.
