well folks after enough research and paycheck building, I just ordered my new 2013 Elite Hunter. got it in black and camo at 29 in draw and 65 lb draw weight. Now for the questions. I am hell bent on the G5 optix xr for the fixed and floating pin whats the good bad and ugly? Next, Trophy Ridge Revolution rest? and last but not least, Carbon Express REDS? I know they are new but so far from what I read it is the best arrow on the market? Im thinking about going with the 250s or should I go with the 350s? Help help help!! please and thank you guys are awesome!!

Best of Luck this fall to everyone!!!

First off congrats on the purchase! I like that XR sight as well, great sight for the money. Not too familiar with the trophy ridge rest. An for the carbon reds. Yes they are an awesome arrow, I shoot Easton's, but a buddy just bought a dozen of the reds an he loves them. Only thing 250 seems a bit light. What board head will you be using?

I dont think the 250s would match up well with the 65# pull weight.

I am shooting the Nap bloodrunners at 100 gr. Two blade that is. Killed one last year with them and the blood trail blew my mind. My neighbor has the G5 sight im gonna go check it out tonight. and what is the difference between the revolution and micro revolution anyone know? I was thinking about going 30 arrows just for more punch, not a believer that speed makes a bow. In my opinion when things go fast theres more room for error.

    Thanks guys!!

I think at the time cabelas only had the revolution and not the micro for me. I know mine was like 50 or 60 bucks. Honestly, have a shop set it up for you that knows what they are doing and you won't have any problems at all
