Anyone know who is carrying the new Scott Silverhorn NCS release yet?This is the newest version with the self ****ing hook.Here is a picture of the release.
I didn't even know they upgraded the Silverhorn for this year. Pretty cool. Some dingbat broke the trigger on mine a few weeks ago so I just ordered a replacement today. No idea if it's a "new" version or not. When it shows up I'll let you know.
I got my release last week and it was the new version with the red trigger/hook. It does self-cock if you pull the trigger back which is a nice feature. However, I'm so used to just resetting it on my own that it's not really that useful for me. One thing I did notice is that they seem to be using a more pliable leather on the wrist strap now. Some of my old Scott releases took awhile to "break in" and were pretty stiff right out of the package. This one is nice and soft. My likely.
