Not to hijack this thread but I had a card pull done and I think we have a winner here. Both cameras in pretty much the same area and under the same canopy (browning is a 2016 dark ops) Finally a reasonable priced camera with some real colors even if the pictures are a bit dark? To top it off the Radix is facing south into the sun and the browning is north. PTDC0035.JPG IMG_0074.JPG

Here's some of the pics. This is looking across a narrow quad trail and into a tall grassy, asian honeysuckle dominated bedding area...facing East with slight Southerly angle. Some of the best captures were on video and camera needs angled down just a hair obviously.

Oh and the date is set wrong. Made the mistake after setting changing batteries and not checking to see if still set right.

You should get a card reader for your phone. I started doing that with all my cameras. My IPhone automatically uploads pics to cloud so they are on my computer when I get back home. I just pull card, downloads pics, delete card, and put back in camera.

the dark pics appear that way because they aren't overexposed. Look at my semi-live thread and you can see some full daylight pics. the dark colored ones are just representing the true colors of time of day. Another way to look at it is many cameras would be in transition phase during that time and pics will be washed out and white/gray all over

I would agree that the photos come off as underexposed, but I noticed that there's still a lot of information in the dark areas. I can bring up the exposure a bit and end up with a very good image. Not that I want to have to do that will all my trail cam pics, but I would also agree that they more closely represent real color and shadows than most trail cams.

I like personally pictures which are more true to life colors and not overexposed so much like I feel many do. Gonna go move the cam actually here in a couple minutes....will report back after a soak.

You guys can say what you want...dark pictures suck...lol. This is where white flash would excel. No white outs. Never to dark.

    Too dark for me.

Would like to see a collection of night time pics (not just the ones that come out good).

Here's a couple pics off my last pull. I don't really have this camera in a great location and haven't gotten a ton of pictures yet. I did mount one of my Moultrie M-80s right above the Radix for comparison.

Radix, right out of the camera

Here is the same Radix image, only bringing up the exposure.

As far as night pictures, I haven't gotten any good ones yet. Here's a transition video. One of the cool things about this camera is that you can record video and take a picture sequence at the same time. I assumed it would take one picture then start recording, but it will actually take however many pictures you have it set to take in photo mode as well as the video. That's pretty cool.

Here's a group of transition pics taken at the same time as the video above.
