What's the advantage/disadvantage to the No glow vs. the Low glow. Price points the same, range is the same, and the pics look the same, (to me). At least the examples they gave.

In my experience with Covert cams, the low glow "black flash" models werent as crisp at night as the LED "red flash" models. Technology in that regard could have improved since then though.

My hunch is as Caleb outlined, I expect the low-glows to be just a touch crisper image wise than the no-glow. Now granted that could be expected given the fact LED "IR flashes" are still visible and some argue emits a touch more illumination than the black led but only time will tell. I too noticed the range and everything is the same claimed for both.

Finally was able to get mine out today. I put is on the trail right behind my house so it will be easy to run down and swap out the card in about a week to get a few samples.

I got mine hung too but upon leaving realized the small tree might trigger way too much if winds become an issue. Gonna be back out there in a week or so and will swap the location of it hopefully.

I ran down and swapped out the chip after only two days because patience isn't one of my virtues. I found that I'm going to need to re-position the camera. It's about 20 yards into the timber, but pointed at a trail leading out of the timber. It's catching the light from outside the timber and way under exposing everything in the timber. The pics were from around 5:15 am. I have another camera hung close for comparison, that camera was still taking IR pics, where the Radix had already switched to normal pics. The good news is that the Radix stored a lot of information in the shadows and I was able to edit the image and see good detail. Wouldn't want to have to do that with every pic, but I think if I change the angle of the camera, it will correct that issue.

Did my first pull from the cam, besides the hanging angle I did thing was awesome. Very true to life color and lighting. Will upload some from it tonight.

**Will admit it is setting with no card in it right now, as I spaced the whole Micro-SD thing and didn't have a replacement micro with me. needless to say won't make that mistake again.

Forever no, but until I get adjusted yes.

I have micro back ups with the full size adapter and have even used them in my other cameras before. Just plan on keeping a few of these in my 12 card carrier. If I build up a big enough number of them I'll just have a second carrier I keep just micro's in. So far this "annoyance" is only arguably negative I've experienced. Granted limited time a field so can't say there will not be more.

Sounds good, I just noticed that they have a July 5th ship date. Appreciate it, Ty.

There was a code floating around with 10% off. Remember also they don't have shipping fees (excludes Canada I believe) if memory serves.

Appreciate it Ty, where was that code floating? I'll try to catch it if I can. Can always use a little help.
