My name is Blake I hunt in central Kentucky, I have been an avid hunter for about 6 years now. I recently recieved permission to hunt a property and the owner said it's so bad with ticks that he doesn't like going out on th eland. Does anyone know some brands of permitherin I should use? Does the sawyer spray you can get at the store work or do you guys know something stronger? Thanks in advance.

I've had pretty good luck with the Sawyer brand Picaridin spray.

Testosterone has always kept them away from me. I have hairy legs.

Sawyers is great! I work in the woods (southern Ohio) and treat my pants every month to keep ticks out.

Sawyers for me as well. I used to get a tick or two in summer scouting but have not since I started using it.
