You are correct. If you changed your DW then you will more than likely need to re-sight in your bow. If you only changed it a half pound or pound or so then you probably wont notice much of a difference but any more than that you will definitely see a difference.

Like InnerX said yes, you will have to re-sight in. Because; More Pounds = More Speed!

Any changes such as DL, DW, arrow weight, string silencers, etc. all change the speed of the bow therefore its trajectory.

I understand why you would need to change the elevation on your sights if you change the draw weight. My question is this : if you have the bow tuned would you need to ever retune if you raised or lowered the draw weight. I am not sure if I am correct in my thinking but I would think that once you had the center shot and the nock level correct, changing draw weight or even arrows would not have an effect on this tuning. Am I correct in this? I know you if you changed the tip weight you might have to change the spine of the arrow, but I am thinking the center shot and nock level would be OK once they are set properly.

I'm not sure because I've never really changed my draw weight much. But I could imagine that if you cranked up the draw weight that it would make the spine weaker and if you backed off of it enought it would make the spine stiffer. So i could see BH tipped arrows being noticably affected

Depending on how much you increased, you may not need to worry as much about the sights as the tune.... The POI of an arrow going 10-15fps faster really doesn't change that much. If you were borderline spine it may make a significant difference in your tune though.
