so a few big bucks including this monster 12 point have been working this hill top indicated by the big red circle both chasing does and just milling around . the grey right angle is a fence where a large steel company owns where i am at and noone is allowed to hunt it but the 12 point was seen just inside the fence by my stand (yellow dot) probably a 25 yard shot had i been there. the white dot is a hole in the fence whree the does are moving through and using that finger to get into the hard woods in the evening. my new plan is to try to put an old 3D target where that pink dot is to try to lure a big one in by curiosity because unless the does that they are with come past me which isnt very likely because there is so much untouched land back there i wont be able to get them in shooting range and though watching them is fun its not good enough for me. So how should i go about this? should i wait another few days and see if the does bring them by or should i take an offensive approach and put a buck decoy or a doe decoy down there? give me your opinions!

sorry guys i forgot to put the hole in the fence on the diagram .. its slightly to the right of the yellow dot.
the larger dot to the left is where i was thinking about putting the decoy

I never have had luck with a decoy when it comes to a mature buck. Stay down wind and use just a little buck pee. Hit your grunt call, don't over do it. They were moving really good this morning in southern Indiana !! Love it!!
