This is why I love my bionic...I put in the massive extra battery and i can go all day...and I am a heavy user. The move to no battery upgrade for the razor is a huge turn off and makes me even more glad i did not hold out. The bionic had massive issues but the latest OTA fixed that...and of course rooting can fix the rest Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I too have a droid bionic. I like it a lot. Like said above, if you're in a 4g area and you get the iPhone, you only get 3g. What's the difference? I was out in bfe last week trying to watch an episode of heartland bowhunter in 3g, nearly impossible. When I got to the airport and had 4g, no problem, didn't even have to buffer, just instant. I'm not a computer guy and i don't do all the unlock stuff. I would only jack it up so I'm not even going to attempt. I think the iPhone is a "smarter" phone and is easier to use. But once you figure out the droid, well problem solved. But like I said, a lot of things the droid does isn't very smart, even when compared to my blackberry (some of the auto-fix suggestions aren't logical whatsoever). Between the Razor and Bionic, the only difference is the thickness and screen. The razor has a super duper screen. That didn't mean all that much to me, neither did the thickness as the bionic is pretty darn thin. So if to me it came down between the iPhone and Bionic. The ONLY reason I chose the bionic is because 4g is 10 minutes away and is supposed to be at my house in the next 3 months. With the iPhone it would be 2 years until i could take advantage of it.
Ditto. I overall like the phone. But man does it have some quirky issues. Sometimes it gets a mind of its own and just.... simply goes crazy. The biggest downside of my droid. I have it managed (battery life) as best I can from apps to screen display etc.. still can get only little over half a day (depending on usage) without recharging. I don't think I should have to carry a charger with me wherever I go hoping to be able to plug it in somewhere so I can get through the day.
Ah, yes, iPhone vs Droid. Its like Mathews vs. Bowtech. There is a huge difference between 4g and 3g. I rarely use my phone when I'm in a 3g area because its annoyingly slow. Here's something you may not know about me...I have a short attention span. If you do go with an iPhone, be sure to put one of those huge Apple decals on your vehicle. Those are so cool.
I have the Droid Bionic and the Droid Thunderbolt. I like Justin would take a 4g iPhone in a heartbeat. I get a new work phone every six months so I just emailed the Directors admin to get me a Droid Razr or Nexus. I like Android but there are annoying factors that go with it as mentioned above. I live in a 4g area and will not get another 3g device......it would be like downgrading to a Bowtech.....
Yeah I am a little concerned about getting stuck with 3G for two years. And what did you say in that first sentence again....I was watching a bug crawl across the ground.
I have an iPhone but I shoot a Bowtech. Is that ok or do I have it backwards? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My Droid X blows my "girl" friend's IPhone out of the water in my area in every way. Now note, she has AT&T and I have Verizon... Using hers and using mine, I prefer the Droid but then again, I shoot a BowTech. ;-) LMAO.
Look at my signature again Not that I would know but rooting is a life changing experience..... Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk
4g??? I have a hard enough time finding 3g coverage around here. I also shoot a bowtech and use a blackberry that has keys and buttons....
