All right I am in the market for a new pack both bow and rifle compatible. With all the quality products out there I have decided on eith badlands or eberlestock. The clutch is the for runner with the eberlestock just one pack coming up really close behind. I will be hunting mostly the Missouri braks area here in Montana and need something large enough to haul an elk out if that days comes but small enough to walk the creek bottoms and such for deer. Any insight you guys might have would be greatly appreciated as I have hit information overload and can't decide on anything right now. Thanks ahead for any input.

I have the Clutch and it has been a Great Pack!
    Get the water bladder.
I think you should try the pack you intend on purchasing on for fit and size. If you need a good do all pack the clutch is a good choice.

If you decide to go with Badlands I wouldn't look anywhere other than the 2200. Big enough for multi-day hunts, small enough for day hunts, and tough enough for a moose quarter.

I had a badlands pack for several years. It has been a good pack. I was going to order the new Stone Glacier Sky pack. After speaking with Aron at Kifaru. I'm going to wait till I get to Denver in a few weeks and try on their packs before I decide which one to buy.

The 2200 is in a close second as far as the badlands packs go. The only thing I liked more about the clutch is the extra little bag you get on the back of the pack. That ability to go from serious back pack to little scout bag seems like a worthy 40 dollar addition. Again thank you guys for your input so far and keep it coming.

Looking into this a bit more I found it for 269 when it retails for 329. And it has me itching to pull the trigger but the site Santana outdoors I have never heard of before. Has anyone had any business with these guys. Don't want to buy it twice. Thanks for any info.

Well I pulled the trigger on the badlands clutch from midway USA. I can't wait to get this thing and starting putting some miles under it. Thank you everyone for your input and will post a full review when it gets in.

    It arrived today!!

So I ordered my pack at the end of last week and it is here today! This thing is way more then I imagined. It has more then ample room for anything I will be hunting. Also the construction is top notch very very well put together . Looking like right around 14 pockets through out the pack including the beaver tail detachable day pack. I really like this feature as it's a perfect size to detach and leave the big fella behind when you don't need all the extras. It holds my bow perfectly snug for packing in and out of any location I can think of. I would recommend this to any one that is looking for a good size pack for 2-3 day hunts or even just a day hunt it will have you covered. Again thanks everyone for input. Happy hunting!!
