So I never typically post on these things, but I figured I'd share this new device I started using-hopefully you guys find it interesting and don't think I'm trying to spam you. I just know that I like when people tell me about good things they try, so here goes! I’ve been hunting all my life and outfit for wolves and other predators in Alberta, so I’m always looking for things to increase both mine and my clients’ success. I bought this little ozone device called the Enforcer when I was at the Harrisburg, PA show this year and I gotta say it's worked wonders for my hunting game. I've used ozone products for years but haven't really been overly happy with the results. I spent over $600 on the ozonics setup with extra batteries and whatnot, but the ozone was too overpowering for me and gave me a headache in my blind (plus I wanted something I could use to throw in my totes or the hunting room to recharge our clothing and the ozonics was too cumbersome for that). So then I gave the scentcrusher bags a try-which after reading reviews of people's clothing getting eaten up by the heavy dose of ozone they put out, I returned them. I don't know about you, but I spend way too much money on my boots and clothes to have the elastic destroyed, so if you have the scentcrusher bags, be careful! I have a buddy at Sitka that says Scentcrusher is under fire from them because Sitka has been receiving all of these warranty requests on their pants and jackets and they finally figured out the cause was the heavy dose of ozone from those bags that was literally eating the synthetic materials. So after all of those experiences, I wasn't too optimistic about how this Enforcer would work, but the guy at the booth kept insisting so I figured I'd buy one to get him to shut up. I tried it for the first time this winter when I took my girlfriend out wolf hunting. We don't sit over bait when we go-we voice call and electronic call to locate the pack and then make moves accordingly from there, so it's very important to have whatever edge we can over them. Out of everything I’ve hunted, wolves are by far the smartest and most difficult quarry to outsmart, but we ended up calling a pack of 12 to within 15 yards. I’ve had multiple experiences like that since and the only thing I’ve been doing differently is letting this unit run in our small hunting room with our gear before we go out. Plus I’ll run it in the truck too to kill any scent in there if we're going to be driving to a new spot. And I know odor control doesn’t make a difference for turkey hunting, but we tried it in our blinds this spring because I wanted to see if I had the same headache issue I had with the ozonics, but I was good to go, which was a relief because I have a feeling we'll be doing some Redneck blind bear hunting with the weather snap that's coming up. We’ve also been out scouting elk a few times this spring and have managed to get pretty close without being busted, so I’ll say this little unit works well. I’ve even got some of my trapping buddies on it now too, so it seems like everyone I've talked to that has used it has been happy with their results. So if you’re interested, they have a website with all the info where you can order it or I think you can get it at ****’s Sporting Goods. Website is https://scentlokenforcer.ca/. I use it everywhere now-truck, hunting room, totes, garage, bathroom (happy girlfriend, am I right?), etc., so for the price and portability this thing has been well worth the $100 it cost. Anyhow, I think I’ve rambled enough. Hopefully someone out there will find this helpful! I know it’s made a difference in my hunting already this season. And if anyone else has tried it, I'd love to hear how it's worked for you or if it's just in my head. lol

    Happy Hunting!

I am not taking the word of a guy that spends money to shut another guy up. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

This really wasn't meant to be spam you guys. My girlfriend actually encouraged me to start posting on these forums because I try everything that comes out on the market for the industry and she figured my trial and error might benefit some of our fellow hunters. And I'm not really the type to post trophy pics of myself because that's just not my thing so I figured I could post tips and ideas of things that have helped me. Again-this is all new to me because I've always been a very private person. She's encouraged me to step out more and share my experiences with the hunting community, but if this post offends you, I'm more than happy to take it down. I just thought somebody out there might benefit in the legwork and dollars I've spent on my own hunting gear, and hopefully it could save someone out there time and money. If it helps add validity-here's one of the wolves we got from that pack that I called in. Enjoy......

If you're sincere stick around and join in the conversation. Lots of great info and people on here. It's also amusing that the first people to bash you for advertising on here do the same thing. :lmao2:

It wouldn't seem like spam so much if you started off the thread a little different. Perhaps introduce yourself and hang out for a while, then perhaps share your experience with your ozone item.

It's all good!! Hang in there. Personally, I've tried the Scent Crusher and sent it back. I had to take most all of my base layers that have elastic waist bands to a seamstress to have the waist tightened up. I quit putting my Sitka gear in the bag for fear of damaging it.
I'm with tc, stick with the wind. I leave my clothes hang outside for the season. I've had great luck with this approach.
I believe my wife is the most beautiful woman I've ever met!! She hunts, fishes, loves the outdoors, and lets me try to farm, so I do whatever I can to make her happy, for your girlfriend giving you advice, if she is the very attractive lady with the wolf, I'd do what she says!!

I think a few more pictures of your girlfriend would help smooth things over

I bought the ozonics kit and plan on testing in my on my hogs this summer.

First off, let me say I believe in ozone technology 100% and have been using it for years. ALL ozone, regardless of which machine makes it, will eat elastic. So it doesn't matter if you're using a ScentCrusher bag or a ScentLok Enforcer or an ozone machine you bought on eBay or Amazon, they all produce the same gas and that gas is harmful to elastic & rubber. The people who have issues with elastic simply didn't read the instructions and warnings on their ozone device before using it. Additionally, I've found that it takes a considerable amount of ozone exposure to ruin elastic. Far more than you really should be using on your gear. I ran my ScentCrusher bag & tote all of last year, most of the time with my elastic bino harness in it, and never had an issue.

Now call me a skeptic, but I have a hard time believing that you signed up for this forum out of the kindness of your heart to tell us all about this great product and neither you, nor your super hot model/product promoter girlfriend, have zero affiliation with the company that makes this product. Especially when you signed up with her e-mail address instead of your own.

Most of the time people don't mind someone pimping a product to them, just be transparent about who you are and what you're doing. Nobody likes being lied to.

If you genuinely interested in being a member here, welcome and join the conversation. Just know that most of us who have been around a while have seen plenty of spammers come and go. There is not any patience from the members for more of it.:deadhorse:

What part of Alberta do you hunt? My parents live in Calgary. I have hunted Alberta on the Hunter Host program several times.; white-tails in Vermillion in 2009 and 2012 , and mulies near Hannah in 2012, and elk and moose around the Peace in 2015.

I got to ask if that's your girlfriend, why is she wearing a engagement ring?

I bought the Scent Crusher on the advise of a friend/member on here. I had reservations about the ozone and the elastic. I found that age of the garment and the amount of material covering the elastic had a bearing on the damage that it done. I had read numerous reviews about ozone on rubber before I purchased the bag. It is just like any other review, there are people that swear by it and people that hate it. I tried it out. I don't believe it is the holy grail of scent elimination, but that is my opinion. I made sure not to leave the generator run too long inside the bag, just incase.

She set the page up for me and didn't have access to my email to do the verification stuff so she just used hers. And you can go look at her instagram page at officialbrittanyyork. If she were doing promotional stuff for them she would have been posting on there. Lord knows she has enough followers to get the traffic. This really was something I tried and liked so I figured I would talk about it. Now I'm almost nervous to post my opinions on other products I've used. Lol
