    Hi all,

I'm very new to archery. I've owned my Heartbreak for a little less than a year and probably have less than 150 shots in. Well, yesterday I shot an arrow into the end of another one of my arrows.. now here is the question.. do I "retire" both arrows for safety?

    Thanks!

Welcome! I've shot a couple robin hoods and I just inspected the okay arrows to make sure there were no scratches, cracks, splinters, etc. I would not shoot the arrow unless you are ABSOLUTELY positive there are no cracks or anything in it. If you are not sure then dont shoot it. Better safe than sorry!

i think you should use the one that is really cracked, as it would give more devastation when entering an animal..... Ok seriously, retire them.....at least the one that had one sticking out of it.....:jaw:

I'd leave the arrows together, as a reminder of how expensive robinhoods are :tu:

Welcome to the site and congrats on the good shooting!

Do your self a favor and don't take the chance of shooting them again. It isn't worth it. Like Fitz said leave em together as a reminder to shoot the dots not your arrows...

I've got 2 hanging over my workbench at home, they look cool, but they cost me $20.00 each. (ouch) Don't risk hooting them!

My girls (7 year old twins shooting a Diamond, not sure lbs but we are going to tomorrow to increase) think it was really cool! Me.. all I can say is CHA-CHING! My husband was outside watching the girls in the trampoline when that nasty sound rung through our valley.. OUCH!!

    :)
