Instead of trying to hold a stand with one hand and throw the ratchet strap around the tree with the other, all you have to do is ratchet strap the Super Mount plate around the tree. The Vantage stand then slips right into the keyhole-like plate, which is designed so that the stand is locked in and the bracket can't be lifted out. This is great for guys hunting public land that don't want to leave their stand hanging or for guys that hunt with cameramen that don't want to have to leave two stands at each set.
