Thinking about getting the new Moultrie M-880 Gen2. Has anyone tried any of thier new 2015 Gen2 cameras yet?

No, I have several pretty new 2014 M-880's but they seem different from the Gen2's. I'm not nearly as happy with the 2014's as the older 2013's. Hopefully they've improved them up to par with at least the 2013 models, they were arguably the best cameras on the market for a long time. I'm guessing they cut the quality on the 2014's trying to keep the price point they had on he 2013's...I see the Gen 2's are considerably higher priced.

I'll stick with the StealthCams before going up to a $50 more expensive camera. I like Moultries cams that I have had but not for that much more money. Hopefully they are good cameras though for those that do want to try them out.

2011-2013 were the best years for Moultrie.

I have two 13 m 880 and a 14 1100 iI was really disappointed with the 14 model. The detection range was not near as far as the 13 and for being a 10MP the pictures sure didn't show it. I got a lot of blurry pics with the 14 model and also a lot of pictures of half deer which is not like a Moultrie camera. I have used moultries for the past 5 years and never had any problems till the 14 model. I will give Moultrie another shot and try there 2015 models and see how they work.
