License Fees/Tags Resident $43 Nonresident $300 Tag is over the counter, has to be bought at the latest 2 days prior. Two lion tags will be given per hunter, the hunt is only for one lion, if a second is taken there will be an additional 1000 charge. 500.00 deposit to hold your hunt date remaining balance due 15 days prior to hunt date. The total hunt cost is $2700.00 per person. The hunt will be conducted by the means of mules/horses, trucks, and hiking with the help of well trained/bred mountain lion hound dogs. 90% Success Rate Snow & 80% Success Rate Dirt. Toms average 130-185 lbs, Females 60-100 lbs. Your trophy will be skinned for you and hide packed out. Packing out meat is not required by law. If a lion is not harvested during your hunt you are more than welcome to return and hunt for free, if time allows for the legal hunting season of your licensed tag.
