Hello everyone. I'm new here to bowhunter.com. I just bought my first bow a few days ago. I won't get to try it out though for another month and a half. I'm still in Iraq.

Thank you very much for your continued service. I too am a new bow owner. I decided to get back into the game after a 15yr. layoff thanks to the nudging of a fellow BH.com friend. Addicting indeed. Now, I've got to get in the stand.

Thanks Everyone for the welcome. I bought a "Ready To Hunt" Bear Assault bow. Now all I need to get is arrows, broad heads, a target, range finder, tree stand, and maybe a few other odd & end items.

Sgt Place, when you get home, get readjusted to home life and then start practicing up. In no time at all you'll be whacking and stacking them up. Hua?
