Thanks Man! It came to me as I was reading everyone's comments.

I think it is simply a unavoidable occurance that happens as a sight grows. In the early days of HNI there was harmony, and then chaos, but in cycles. New faces showed up, and wether a difference of opinion, not being in the click, trying to hard to be in a click, etc....tempers flared, threads such as this showed up, members were banned and so on and so forth.

I remember a time when bowhunting.com was a peaceful place, and we all agreed, or agreed to disagree. But, threads also stayed at the top for days on end because traffic was slow, unless a few guys just happened to get on line at the same time. It was fun to chat and learn, but kind of boring at the same time. Even though some of the aforementioned stuff has crept into the site, it is still a cool place to stop by, if you think not, check out AT, any sction other than the health and fitness or classifieds is a waste of time.

Trolls, and internet toughguys only hang around for so long, but that time greatly increases everytime you throw them a bone...

This is by far the nicest forum I belong to. By far. I swear, some of you would cry yourselves to sleep at night if you visited other forums. This site does not have any pot stirrers. This place is Disneyland. Some of you need not get so offended if someone has a different view on the world as you.

In all seriousness, it's not so much the differing of opinions, but the incessant need to try to establish one's reputation on here that's annoying.

Hooker is right, some of the college football forums would have some guys around here filing lawsuits, or sucking their thumb...

Matt is right as well, guys spend more time telling what they are capable of, but for some reason pics never arise once the season comes in. 3-D champs, booner killers, turkey slayers etc all seem to disapear once the seasons arrive...

I wish some of you could have been a part of the tuning threads back in the day (HNI). GMMAT was a sponge from guys like T-Fox, Bruce, Schultzy, Greg MO, etc... and many many more. He would ask some great questions, and come back with real world expierence. Then "that" guy would show up, my bow shoots mechs, just like field tips and all I have to do is move my sights before season and bam, right back on target. The new poster would then proceed to call everyone idiots, and for the next 20 pages get roasted and pushed to a point they would never show up again, under that screen name anyway. Good times I tell you, good times.

I love me some pot stickers. We got a little asian place down the road that makes the best damn pot stickers in the whole world.

So anyway. I was out of town for several days enjoying the cabin in Lake Country only to return to fine an entire thread dedicated to yours truly. While it was a bit odd and entirely out of place (and no doubt led to yet another vacation for shoobee) I have to say I am touched by the kind words expressed on my behalf.

I noticed you have been in more than a few. as a matter of fact after reading all of Shoobees post and YOURS, it is not hard to see who has went out of their way to attack the other.

If you cant handle someone saying they dont hunt the rut or people that build a house in a flood area or next to a dam wood pile waiting for a fire to happen are a dumb azz, then keep your crybaby azz on the I squat to piss or look at my pretty shoes threads.

How about letting us in on the unlikable one from the GTG, I'm sure they would like to know if they are your next target.

I could care less if Shoobee is on here or not, what bothers me is your crybaby azz got him banned after bad mouthing him for days. WTF is wrong with that picture!

 

He got himself banned if you actually took the time to read what he has said.
Clearly you didn't because if you had you would have known that he said that you can not hunt the rut.
Also I'm not sure what was meant by it but read above where RC.and Fitz are taking about him.
