Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jonathan and I'm from the Myrtle Beach area of SC. I am a local police detective and I work part time with Century 21. I am new to the archery world. In the last few months I purchased a Predator 60" recurve and a Diamond Iceman. I don't even claim to know much about archery. This is a whole new world full of twists and turns that I am trying to figure out. I haven't even released a stick on anything yet. But I am hunting locally. Wish me luck. By the way, since I am new with very little experience I look forward to reading some of these post from more experienced guys.
    Jonathan

By the time we're done with you, you'll have to go 10-42 from Century 21 as you'll be hooked for life. Welcome aboard!!!!

Thanks for the welcome. And I'm hunting this evening. Lord only knows how ready I am to send one. I've practiced and practiced with the compound. Here in our County it's archery only until the 15th and bucks only. We can't use our doe tags until the 15th. Wouldn't you know it I've seen plenty of does. My master plan is use the compound until the 15th because I can't shoot the does. But come the 15th I will try one of those does with the recurve. I'm confident with the compound but my cofidence with the recurve is marginal. Maybe I need to put the compound up for now and only practice with the recurve. It would be awesome to say that my first deer (in archery) was with a recurve. Any I'm going on like a fool see you guys.
