hi! I'm a new memeber to the site from Ontario Canada. I hoping someone can give me advice on what is a good 60 lbs bow for beginners. I plan on practicing during the summer. I want to go hunting for deer in this fall.
Welcome to the site and this great sport. You are going to get a ton of different answers regarding your question. What you need to do is determine your budget then go visit a few pro shops. Explain that you are a new shooter and what your budget is. If they are a good shop they should be happy to explain the different bows they offer and get you setup with a few to shoot. After you start shooting a few you will develop a feel for the ones that you like and the ones you don't. With everyone being different no one can ever say which is the bow for you. You have to figure that out for yourself. One other thing that I would suggest is after you find a bow or two that you like shoot the bow that is one step above it and one step below. This will help you to understand why the one you are choosing costs what it does. It will also help you to confirm that the one you are getting is in fact the one you really want!!! Good luck with your search and keep us posted on how it is going and what you decide!
