Well as I am new to the forum and have seen a few other people post introductions, I figured I would as well. I'm a 23 yr old SSG in the US Army, currently deployed to Afghanistan. I've been a 68W (combat medic) for 5 years. When I was 13 or so I got an fiberglass recurve bow and began practicing. A while later I bought an old Bear compound bow from a pawn shop and shot the hell out of it. After a few years other things pushed my archery hobby to the side, but I picked up a bow 2 years ago and started in again. This past season was the first time I have actually hunted with a bow, and I'm hooked. I plan on getting new tackle once I get back in the states, and hitting the woods every chance I get. I appreciate all the good info on here, and you guys seem like a pretty good group. I hope to learn a lot from my reading here and share my experiences as well.
Welcome to the forums but more importantly, thank you for the sacrifice you and your family are making for our country. Know that it is appreciated by all. Welcome back to the sport of archery and I hope you can get a big one when you get home. Be safe! Blessings.....Pastorjim
