    I'm in NY about 3 hours north of the city in the country. Pretty much the worst hunting state in the US. Worst laws and terrible deer numbers.

    I will be moving when I retire someday. Can't leave now and pass up the pension.

    I was stationed in Ballston Spa, NY back in my Navy days. I agree with the other guys, abysmal deer numbers and not a hunter friendly state.

    It's not as hunter friendly as other states, but the mindset is changing. At least from people I talk to. They want me to help them. Hunt their land. But I do agree, other states are better for hunting
