Recently started bow hunting here in New Zealand and am planning a bow hunting trip to Wyoming in Sept. Looks like a great site and hope to learn a little before getting to the US in a few months.

Any questions about hunting over here, just ask.

Thanks, sounds good. I'm looking at applying for antelope units in the south east of WY.

Well done! My plan is to hunt elk near Dubois and then if I have time head south east for a pronghorn. As a NR find out about my elk draw this week :)

good luck. hope you draw lucky.

i won't be going for pronghorn this year. i'm gonna place a lot of focus and time on elk (going to a different, farther place).

if you draw the place i got, i'll point you to the places where i saw them. they were everywhere. only bad thing was the wind and lack of hiding places. i tried spot and stalk, which almost worked several times, but only almost. lol that's hunting i guess.

but there was never a time that i didn't see them there. plenty of eyes to look at me, that's for sure.

Welcome to the site. NZ is a hunters paradise so we'll not to disapointment when you come over.

My wife and I spent some time in NZ in 2012 and got to bow hunt Red Stags. Sitka and Arapau Rams and I've been trying to get back ever since.
    Where do you live?
