    Hello All.

First post here, just wanted to say hello as i have just bought my first bow. I expect to be spending a fair bit of time on here. Im completely new to hunting and Bows, so i am looking forward to embarking on this awesome new hobby!

I have purchased a Mathews Monster Chill-R, a whisker Biscuit, still need to sort out sight & release options, arrows etc. If it matters i am a lefty.

I am very lucky that i live in a country with some good hunting access, so once i learn to shoot this beast proficiently my goal is to nail some Tahr/Chamois/Deer.

I look forward to being a member here.

Welcome to Bow hunting and the site. You live in a hunters paradise. Where about's do you live? I spent a month in NZ in 2012 touring and doing a little Red Stag hunting.

    Thanks for the welcome guys.

Yes i am very lucky, i live in Canterbury so the Southern Alps Mountain Range is only 2 hours drive away by road. Picked up my Bow tonight, got a whisker biscuit arrow rest, 4 pin optic 'Rock G5' sight, peep, 'Fuse' release, and a wrist sling.

Still need a stabiliser, quiver etc but this get up will at least allow me to get some practice in! Very Happy Man. I will most certainly be posting up pics of any trips i do!
