I am brand new to Bowhunting and looking for as much knowledge on equipment and technique as it takes. This is my first year hunting Deer and I caught a bug the first time I got up in a tree stand. I love the thrill of the chase and trying to out think an animal that has all its instincts geared toward survival. I will be hunting mostly public land in the northern sub of Minneapolis. I have been looking at google earth and Bing maps of WMA's I am a hunter on a buget would appreciate any information on a well priced bow set up or climbing tree stand or any gear you think a first timer should have. If anyone wants a hunting partner I would be happy to come along and learn whatever you can teach me and drag your deer out at the end of the day as a thank you.
