Hey everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself -- I am pretty new to the whole archery game, but look forward to picking it up some. I got bitten by the bug a few years ago when a buddy of mine lent me a bow and we went hog hunting. Never been a big treestand guy (get too bored and fall asleep), but being down on the ground stalk hunting was a pretty cool experience. I picked up my own bow and went a few more times, but mostly have been carrying my 30-30 lever action because none of my other friends are much into bowhunting. I talked one of my buddies into buying a crossbow instead of a new pistol, so it's looking like I get to dust off the old Proline and get out there some. Looking forward to learning more about the sport! Bryson
Cool beans....there are many hunting camps in the South Carolina plus an early deer hunting season. Welcome aboard. Besides whom haven't fell in asleep in a treestand, let him drop the first arrow. LOL!
Fall asleep? why I just................................................... Great thrill, stalking game. Bowhunting is awesome. ENJOY!
Thanks for the warm welcome -- I hope to do some deer hunting (never bow hunted for deer) next fall, so I should have all spring and summer to practice and to find some good land. I'm buying the 09/10 Martin Firecat Pro X/TR2 that Stokedpowerwagon was selling, so I will be selling my Proline or running a bowfishing rig on it if I can get the draw weight down some.
