My name is Jon, I'm new to this forum, as well as the sport of archery. My long term goal is to become proficient enough with a bow to hunt white tail deer, and possibly turkey, with a bow. I'm purchasing a Fred Bear Code bow w/ accessories from a friend of mine. All I need to purchase is a new release, as well as longer arrows (his draw length is about 1.5" shorter than mine. I'm here to learn.
