Hey there! I've just recently gotten interested in bow-hunting and will be making my first purchase soon. I'm interested in the $400 price point class of bows. Currently I'm looking at the Diamond Infinite RTH package from Hunter's Friend, but am also really interested in the Bear attitude. Are there any other brands/models you've used or would personally recommend? What should I be looking for?
But you might want to go to your local outfitter and get them to help you. Shoot a few to see what you like and they can also tune the bow for you. Good luck and welcome to the site.
I agree, you let the bow pick you, you don't pick the bow. I shot some Hoyt, Bowtech, Diamond, Bear and others before buying my Mathews. The others were not as comfortable in my hand and draw or shooting style. The Mathews fit me like a glove. I know some people who are shooting the Diamond for the sheer fact of how easy it is to adjust especially for beginning hunters and youth hunters who plan to grow into the bow.
