Went to get fitted for my 2014 season bow and shot the chill and creed, and only got to hold the creed xs and chill r they had on display. I shoot left handed so there were none of the setup in Lh versions so i shot them right handed which isnt an issue as i shot right handed years ago. My question is, im looking for a bow to primarily hunt with but we do like to shoot some 3d and technohunt, along with some standard target shooting at some of the ranges and clubs around here. Which one of these setups is gonna be the best bet for my situation? i shot them and the few times i shot each, only real thing i noticed was that the chill seemed to be a few feet faster and maybe a little quieter... And i have always shot a single cam versus a two cam setup so i could tell that was diff.(the creed was at 60 and draw length was a little short at 27, the chill was at 60 and a little long on draw length at 28.5)
    Any opinions?
    Thanks

The best one will be the one that you shoot the best and have the most confidence in.

I agree with soccerdan go with the one that fits you best and feels better to you i shoot the creed and love it i dont care for the xs its slower and i like 30 ata i primarily hunt but i do enter some 3ds and tornys sometimes and my creed performs awesome in all situations especially hunting when i enter a tounry i just change my sight to get more distance i shoot 5 fixed pins to hunt 20 to 60 in 10 yard settings when i shoot tornys i shoot a sureloc or blackgold ascent hd but both bows are nice im just not a fan of dual cams but buy the one you like best so you have no regrets.

The bow picks the shooter, not the other way around.

I haven't shot the chill R but I loved the old chill. To me the old chill drew even better overall then the creed xs. For me the XS was amazing for three quarters of the draw but then had a tough spot right at the end. Which I see being a problem in cold weather. The old chill was not as smooth at the biginning but was better over all. I shot these bows at a 27 or 28 in draw and 65-70 lbs.

My advise is to let the bow pick you. Last year they was not a tone of difference between the 2 mathews bows but this year they are total opposites.

I looked at your profile to see your location and its not listed. If you are close to Middle TN, I have a 2014 Creed XS lefty you can try. I bought it as a hunting bow. I guess any bow can be a tourney shooter if you are talented enough, but I don't see it being a good choice as far as that area goes.
