My friends and I got on a new lease. Last time I visited the place was May 3rd for turkey season as it's few hours away. I'm trying to get a plan of action for areas to scout and to hang stands next weekend. You really can't tell the topography on these photos but there is quite a bit of rolling hills in the fields and the wood lots. Any areas that jump out as areas I should definitely look into hanging a stand just based on these aerial photos? Obviously getting my boots on the ground will help but looking for good starting point. Any advice?

Open fields are all corn this year which was planted the week I was turkey hunting. The neighboring fields to the north are CPR or grown up hay fields. Fields to east are also grown up weeds. Fields to south and west are planted in corn from what I can tell. Couple good bucks shot here last few years.

I see a few spots in inside corners. Any spots that jump out?

1st pic middle tree line that shoots down i'd set up near there. Between the 2 main chunks of woods that might be holding the most deer and are furthest away from houses. During rut bucks prob be cruising between them along that tree line. Looks like you might be able to sneak in and avoid that first chunk by walking in at the curve of that road if that's an option. The rolling topography should help you sneak in I would think.

Hard to say with out too but I like the intersection of the woods in picture two as well. Anything that looks like it could be a corridor t walk the edges of the fields but stay in woods. I'd start by dropping in some cameras if you have not already and you have them. If you are close by with all the fields glassing the edges in the evenings might be a good idea to. Also walk the field edges looking for signs of where they might be entering the fields and setup a few yards inside the wood line on those trails. Just some ideas. Good luck!!

I have 4 cameras out since May1 so hopefully they have been working properly. They are in pinch points and inside corners. Live too far away to glass fields plus it's all corn so hard to see the edges this year. Hopefully cameras and walking the field edges will give me some good ideas. I'll post pictures if I have any shooters on there.

There seem to be several good spots on the property. The second picture has already been pointed out, but I agree with that and I also like the sixth picture for the cover surrounding the food in the south west of the picture. Good luck and let us know how it works out for you this year.
