So just got new land to hunt thanks to the girlfriend's dad so i went out and bought a maultrie d55-ir trail cam and after 48hours in the woods i just had to check it. Season is fast approaching and my stands should be in the woods if you were to ask me, but i just am not sure where to place the stands (2) so i feel i need to do some more scouting. need help what is your opinion?

Thanks for your time in advance.

P.s. here is a pic of the only deer i got on my trail cam. I think it is a 10 point but not, sure body could use some more weight tho.

    Cowboy,

Welcome to the site. I'm from your neck of the woods so feel free to pm me.

What set up will you be shooting this year?

Where will you be hunting? I recommend looking at some topo maps.

What type of stands do you have?

Again, pm me and we can talk specifics. Take care.

    C
